The JTS JSS-40 is a professional wideband UHF handheld transmitter designed for use with the JTS UF-40 wireless system. Combining extensive frequency flexibility, advanced transmitter control and an interchangeable microphone capsule system, it is designed for demanding live performance, presentation and professional wireless applications.

Operating across a maximum bandwidth of 108 MHz, the JSS-40 provides between 2,400 and 3,000 selectable frequencies depending on the configured frequency band. Fifteen preset groups provide up to 63 compatible channels per group, giving users extensive flexibility when coordinating larger multi-channel wireless systems.

JTS REMOSET technology enables compatible receiver settings to be transferred wirelessly to the transmitter, helping simplify frequency configuration and reduce setup time. Selectable Low and High RF output power allows transmission strength to be optimised to suit different applications and operating environments.

The JSS-40 is supplied with JTS's SAM-8WLN capsule, developed to provide high-quality acoustic performance while reducing handling and touch noise. Its interchangeable capsule design also allows the transmitter to be used with a range of compatible microphone capsule modules, providing greater flexibility for different performers and applications.

An integrated LCD displays essential operating information including group, channel, frequency, battery status, RF power, sensitivity, Device ID, user name and low-cut status. Onboard controls provide access to frequency, group, sensitivity, low-cut filtering, Device ID, REMOSET, RF power, display settings, user name, Key Lock and mute functions.

Powered by two AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, the JSS-40 also features a slot-in charging design, allowing compatible rechargeable batteries to be charged while remaining installed in the transmitter.
