Product Details

  • 32×32 configurable processing matrix: route any of the 32 inputs to any of the 32 outputs with full processing on each.

  • Local analogue I/O: 12 mic/line inputs and 12 line outputs.

  • Expansion and audio networking: supports option cards for up to 128×128 I/O (Dante, AES67, SLink).

  • 96kHz FPGA core with ultra low latency.

  • On-board sound management tools: 4 automatic mic mixers, ambient noise compensation, priority ducking, 8band parametric EQ, dynamics, and delay on every input and zone.

  • Speaker-processing on outputs/zones: crossover filters, delay, limiters, PEQ, and all-pass filters.

  • Front panel screen with 8 programmable SoftKeys; supports remote control via IP controllers, TCP/IP, and GPIO.

  • Suitable for multi-room installations in hospitality, corporate, or educational settings.

The Allen & Heath AHM32 is a 32×32 audio matrix processor designed for installation environments such as corporate boardrooms, hospitality venues, education campuses, and multiroom sound systems.

The AHM32 features a robust processing engine built around a full 32×32 routing matrix and a locally-mounted 12mic/line input and 12 line-output analogue I/O section. This provides a strong foundation for installations requiring a moderate number of local connections, with the potential to expand via networking or additional I/O. Its core is a 96kHz FPGA platform, offering ultra-low latency performance and high-fidelity signal integrity.

Routing flexibility is a key strength, allowing any of the 32 inputs to be routed to any of the 32 outputs, which can be configured as mono or stereo zones or dedicated speaker-processing outputs. The local I/O is complemented by an I/O expansion/network port that supports optional cards, enabling the system to grow up to 128×128 channels through networked I/O.

Every input and every zone/output path receives full DSP treatment. Inputs include 8-band parametric EQ, dynamics (compressor/limiter), delay, and insertion points, while each zone includes processing for PEQ, delay, speaker management (crossovers, all-pass filters, limiters), making the system suitable for multi-zone audio distribution, paging, background music, or full speaker-management applications. Advanced features include ambient noise compensation, priority ducking for speech over music, and automatic microphone mixing. For conferencing or challenging environments, an optional acoustic echo cancellation or feedback suppression module can be added.

Control and integration are comprehensive. The front panel features a screen and eight programmable soft keys for local control, including volume adjustment, source selection, and preset recall. Remote control is supported via IP-based controllers, and the system provides TCP/IP, GPIO, and standard drivers for integration into AV automation platforms. It also supports up to 16 user profiles and an event scheduler for tailored control.

With its combination of routing capacity, DSP horsepower, local I/O, network-expansion capability, and integrator-friendly control, the AHM32 is ideal for mid-sized installations requiring a sophisticated audio matrix processor without moving to a full enterprise-scale solution. It is particularly well-suited to multi-room setups in hospitality, corporate, and education environments, providing comprehensive audio management and control.
